How to share a transformation with a customer

Configure a transformation in your own workspace, then hand it over to a customer with one click. They get full control and run it on their own from then on.

Sometimes the fastest way to onboard a customer is to build the transformation yourself. Share with customers lets you configure a transformation in your own workspace, then hand a copy to a customer, who takes full control of it from then on.

⚙️ How to share a transformation

  1. Go to your Transformations page

  2. On the transformation you want to hand over, open the settings menu (⚙️)

  3. Click Share with customers

  4. Choose the customer who will receive it

🤝 The transformation is copied, not moved. The customer receives their own copy and has full control over it: they can run it on new files, adjust it, and submit results on their own, without you in the loop. Your original stays in your workspace, so you keep a trace of what was delivered.

🏭 Example — onboarding done for the customer, not by the customer

A platform onboards a new supplier who sends a tricky catalog file, catalogue-2026.xlsx, with merged cells and inconsistent category names. Rather than walking the supplier through the setup, the platform's team uploads the sample file, configures the rules and the value mapping, and verifies the output in Finalize. Once everything runs clean, they click Share with customers and select the supplier. The supplier now uploads their weekly catalog into a transformation that already works.
