When WeTransform is embedded in your platform, your customers handle their file uploads entirely on their own. They load a file, follow the steps, fix what needs fixing, and submit, all inside your interface, under your brand. Here is exactly what they see.
🪜 The four steps
Upload — the customer loads their file. A banner reminds them what the file should contain at minimum, with an example file to download.
Match — their columns are mapped to your target format automatically by AI Mapping. They review and adjust if needed.
Finalize — errors are flagged row by row, with pre-configured solutions they can apply in one click.
Submit — the transformed file is delivered to you, through the exporters configured on the target format.
🔍 Nothing is a black box. On Finalize, your customers can select any value and click Explain to see exactly which steps changed it and why. See How to understand every change made to your file.
📥 Six ways for them to load a file
Your customers aren't limited to drag and drop. From the same screen, they can:
📄 Drag and drop a file (CSV, TXT, JSON, PDF, XML, or XLS)
🌐 Import using a URL pointing to their file
🗂️ Import through FTP or 🛡️ SFTP from their own server
📧 Import by email, by sending the file to a dedicated address
🔌 Import from an API, pulling data straight from their own system
⚡ If their file matches a connector you have configured (for example a known Sage or Magento layout), WeTransform recognizes it and offers to apply the transformation steps automatically. See Connectors — give your customers ready-made transformations.
🙌 Why this matters
Every error your customer fixes in Finalize is an email your team never receives. A logistics platform onboarding a new e-commerce client used to exchange file versions by email for days. With the embed, the client uploads their export, applies the suggested corrections, and submits a valid file on the first afternoon, without a single support ticket.
