💡 The biggest issue when uploading a file to any system is the error handling. One usually needs to download error reports, understand the errors, correct them, and re-upload their files.
Error handling in WeTransform makes this easier, by presenting solutions to users. All they have to do is pick in a list of choices and the file corrects automatically.
Here is what a solution looks like when a user automatically corrects a full column.
In this example, the column external_product_id_type only accepts a list of value, and the user has entered value "4" which is not accepted. (click to enlarge to see video). 👇
By simply choosing a value in the list, the full column gets corrected 🎉
Solutions are provided by default depending on the constraints of your columns. You can change and adapt them as you like.
💡 Solutions are particularly useful if you need other people to send you files according to your template.
You can adapt solutions as you want and customize them to your business. They allow you to pre-build questionnaires, so that your users only have to answer questions to correct the files when they encounter errors.
